McCain Flip Flopping On Immigration Solely For The Sake Of Support.

The Republicans held office for eight long years, why didn't they close the borders when they had the chance? Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl have short memories. These two are a part of the the failure of the federal government to fix this countrys immigration problem. In 2007 McCain joined the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., in cosponsoring legislation that would have established a guest-worker program and provided a path to legal citizenship for illegal immigrants. McCain "the Maverick", who survived POW torture during the Viet Nam war, failed to find that same courage and buckled under pressure from the GOP to vote against his own immigration bill.

It's no surprise that McCain's drifted increasingly rightward on the issue of immigration. He represents Arizona, for crying out loud, where governance is becoming more and more of a farce every day. Now that he's running for office again, McCain is pretending to be a Conservative with talk of a balanced budget amendment (He's been in the Senate long enough to have written one and presented and hasn't.), then there's his switch on his stance about the immigration problem of this country. As much as McCain switch hits, it's no wonder that the state of Arizona is in downward spiral. Save yourselves Arizonians! Vote against failed government, vote against McCain.

Kyl, McCain react to court ruling
by Jennifer Thomas

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl today made the following statement regarding the United States District Court of Arizona's decision to block enforcement of the most important provisions of SB 1070:

"We are deeply disappointed in the court's ruling today and disagree with the court's opinion that the Arizona's law will unduly 'burden' the enforcement of federal immigration law.

"Instead of wasting tax payer resources filing a lawsuit against Arizona and complaining that the law would be burdensome, the Obama Administration should have focused its efforts on working with Congress to provide the necessary resources to support the state in its efforts to act where the Federal government has failed to take responsibility.

"After this decision, it's even more important to implement our Ten Point Border Security plan to protect Arizonans and our country."
